What you may use it for

You may use RubFile for personal and commercial work. You keep all rights to the files you process and to the results. RubFile claims no ownership over anything you put into it.

Your responsibility

You must have the right to process the files you choose. Do not use RubFile for unlawful content, or to circumvent protection on files you are not allowed to modify.

Keep your own copy of anything important. A tool that rewrites a file can never be a backup.

Fair use of the conversion service

Document conversion runs on shared, rate-limited infrastructure. Automated bulk submission, scraping, or attempts to overload or probe that service are not permitted, and requests may be limited or refused to keep the service available for everyone.

No warranty

RubFile is provided as is. File formats are messy in the real world, and a conversion can fail or lose detail that the original format carried. Results are not guaranteed to be suitable for a particular purpose, and you remain responsible for checking a result before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RubFile is not liable for lost data, lost profit, or indirect damage arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by the applicable law.

Availability

Tools can be added, changed or withdrawn — for example when a format cannot be supported honestly on a device. The app always states when a tool is unavailable instead of failing quietly.
